Mars Enters Scorpio

Mars enters Scorpio on October 11th at exactly 11:04 pm CDT and will stay here until November 24th. Mars hasn’t been in one of the signs it rules since May of 2022, so I can not understate how significant this transit will be for us. For the next six weeks, we need to focus on actions that require a strong will and being perceptive as we involve ourselves intimately with what we desire.

Often, what we want most does not simply fall into our laps. We have to work for it; we have to put in effort. Mars in Scorpio rewards effort. It rewards determination and persistence. We must consider what we want so badly that we are willing to go after it forcefully if necessary and where our passions really lie.

Mars’ first connection is on October 28th, when it opposes Jupiter and joins Mercury. This is when we see if our efforts up to this point have been enough or if they have fallen short. There is also an eclipse that day, so reckonings or intense conversations are likely.

Next, on November 11th, Mars opposes Uranus, tempting us to lash out unexpectedly when we should be focused on liberating ourselves from what is restricting us. Find a healthy way of releasing any excess tension or anger.

Then, on November 16th, Mars connects pleasantly with Neptune. Focus more on helping others and using your intensity to their advantage.

The Sun joins Mars on November 17th. Concentrate on whatever you’re pursuing that you most identify with and put your energy toward that. Avoid unsafe or risky endeavors, as physical accidents may be likely.

Finally, on November 21st, Mars connects with Pluto, giving us an advantage in achieving our goals as long as we know exactly what we want.

Sometimes, it is scary to admit what we desire. Mars in Scorpio gives us that little extra bravery to accept our feelings and face what we genuinely long for. Half-heartedness has no place here, so be thorough, be intense, and don’t give up. If it’s worth it, it’s worth the effort.
