Mars

Mars Enters Taurus

Mars enters Taurus on June 8th at exactly 11:35 p.m. and will stay there until July 20th. This is a significant shift for Mars as it transitions from its home sign, Aries, to leisurely Taurus, seeking comfort. For the next six weeks, pursue your goals with determination, use your resilience as motivation, and let your desire for stability guide your actions.

Mars Enters Aries

Mars enters Aries on April 30th at exactly 10:33 am CDT and will stay here until June 9th. Mars is finally leaving the seas of Pisces and entering the battle-tested arena of Aries. For the next six weeks, pursue your goals with bravery, use your competition as motivation, and let your determination guide your actions.

Mars Enters Scorpio

Mars enters Scorpio on October 11th at exactly 11:04 pm CDT and will stay here until November 24th. Mars hasn’t been in one of the signs it rules since May of 2022, so I can not understate how significant this transit will be for us. For the next six weeks, we need to focus on actions that require a strong will and being perceptive as we involve ourselves intimately with what we desire.

Mars Enters Gemini

Mars enters Gemini on August 20th at exactly 2:56 am CDT and will stay here for an incredible seven months due to an upcoming Mars retrograde. I can’t stress enough how impactful and, quite honestly, exhausting the next seven months will be. Gemini energy, while lighthearted, can be chaotic, so we must maintain a strong core; otherwise, we may find ourselves shaken and tossed around in ways we don’t appreciate.

Mars Enters Aries

Mars enters Aries on May 24th at exactly 6:17 pm CDT and will stay here until July 5th. Mars is finally back in one of the signs it rules. We are finally ready to act on behalf of our inner strengths and direct our energy outward without holding back. Since Mars has no one to answer to but itself, we can operate with a sort of impunity, not letting others dictate our actions and motivations, allowing our true nature the expression it deserves.

Mars Enters Aquarius

Mars enters Aquarius on March 6th at exactly 12:23 am CST and will stay here until April 14th. Mars will continue to be ruled by Saturn in Aquarius, so we are still operating under a strong Saturnian influence, meaning that our actions will continue to be more controlled, focused, and deliberate. But the move from Capricorn into Aquarius will be a more significant shift than some might be expecting.

Mars Enters Sagittarius

Mars enters Sagittarius on Monday, December 13th at exactly 3:53 am CST and will stay here until January 24th. Now our actions become less calculating but more energetic and outwardly focused, and it’s much easier for us to be flexible in our approach. Mars will be ruled by Jupiter, which will shift out of Aquarius and into Pisces over the next month. We will see how the time we spent considering the bigger picture now helps lead us to more wise and understanding actions.

Mars Enters Scorpio

On Saturday, October 30th, Mars enters Scorpio after spending two months in Libra and will stay here until December 13th. This will be a dramatic change for Mars as they go from adversity in Libra to a place of ease and advantage in Scorpio. Our primal instincts will be the driving force behind many of our actions as we face our deepest hopes and fears. It’s time to get honest about what is really motivating our behavior.

Mars Enters Libra

Mars enters Libra on Tuesday, September 14th at precisely 7:14 pm CDT and will stay here until October 30th. Mars faces a lot of adversity in Libra as it is a sign ruled by Venus -- Mars and Venus have almost opposite goals. We will be forced to put our more selfish impulses aside while we center our actions around relationships and act with more sensitivity.

Mars Enters Virgo

Mars leaves Leo and enters Virgo on Thursday, July 29th at precisely 3:32 pm CDT and stays here until September 14th. For now, we can expect our actions to be less expressive but more thoughtful and precise. Sometimes holding back and analyzing the situation is just as valid as bravely rushing into something.

Mars Enters Leo

Mars officially enters Leo on Friday, June 11th at 8:34 am CDT. Mars will stay here for about two months until July 29th. We will start to shift our focus away from others and more towards ourselves. Start doing things that make you feel good! Put yourself out there more, and take some (calculated) risks! Embrace the part of you that is strong-willed and self-assured!

Mars Enters Cancer

Mars entered Cancer Friday, April 23rd at exactly 6:49 am CDT. Mars will stay in this water sign until June 11th, 2021. The next couple of months should be spent slowing down a little and working with our emotions more. The Moon will now rule Mars, so emotions may be all over the place. We must remember to prioritize processing our feelings before acting on them.

Mars Enters Gemini

Mars leaves Taurus and enters Gemini on Wednesday, March 3rd, at exactly 9:30 pm CST. Mars’ ruler will also change from Venus to Mercury, meaning we should expect a lot more conversations, verbal debates, and possibly fighting for others’ attention. Mars also moves into a mutable sign, so our actions will be less fixed, but we will be more flexible and adaptable. Also, Mars has been in a contentious relationship with Saturn for most of the last year, making matters stall and leaving us frustrated; this move into Gemini will lighten a lot of that tension.

Mars Enters Taurus

Mars finally leaves Aries and enters Taurus on January 6th at exactly 4:27 pm CST. Mars spent six months in Aries, which is unusually long due to a retrograde. I know many of us have felt a lot of frustration over the last six months, hopefully that will change now. Mars will stay in Taurus until March 3rd with no retrogrades, yay! Mars in Taurus is all about slow and consistent action, so focus your energy on things you can stick to and matters that require commitment. Check-in with yourself and make sure you are making progress, though; Mars can sometimes be a little too slow in Taurus, so make sure you aren't putting things off.
