Venus enters Aquarius on February 16th at exactly 10:05 am CST and will stay here until March 11th. With Venus now in an air sign, we should focus more on maintaining communication in our relationships as well as our mental connection with others. For the next three weeks, appreciate what makes others different or special, value long-lasting relationships, and see past what others have on the surface.
Mars Enters Aquarius
Mars enters Aquarius on February 13th at exactly 12:05 am CST and will stay here until March 22nd. Mars will remain Saturn-ruled; however, the energy will be more conceptual and dynamic now that it's in an air sign. For the next six weeks, use non-traditional methods to get what you want, be more independently motivated, and fight for progressive causes.
Mercury Enters Aquarius
Mercury enters Aquarius on February 4th at exactly 11:10 pm CST and will stay here until February 23rd. Mercury has been in and out of Capricorn because of a retrograde for a while now. Now that Mercury is in an air sign, it’s time to get a little less cautious and a lot more open-minded. For the next three weeks, concentrate on objectively seeing matters, embracing reformist ideas, and being more original when communicating.
Pluto Enters Aquarius
Pluto is not the easiest planet to deal with precisely because it is so slow. Its lessons are exacted over time and drawn out gradually. So gradually that many of us don’t see Pluto coming until it is almost too late. Thankfully we get to experience Pluto entering Aquarius in stages before it makes Aquarius its home for the next 20 years.
Sun Enters Aquarius
The Sun enters Aquarius on January 20th at exactly 2:30 am CST and will stay here until February 18th. The Sun in Aquarius is much more curious about bigger concepts and sees matters from an all-encompassing perspective. This is not the time for us to be myopic or close-minded. For the next four weeks, focus on looking ahead wisely with a cool head.
Venus Enters Aquarius
Venus enters Aquarius on January 2nd at exactly 8:09 pm CST and will stay here until January 26th. For the second time in a row, Venus will be ruled by a strong Saturn, pushing us to raise our standards and avoid annoying relationships. Again, if we are approaching others unseriously, we may not get positive results.

Venus Enters Aquarius
Venus enters Aquarius on March 6th at exactly 12:30 am CST. Finally, after four long months, Venus says goodbye to Capricorn. There was a lot of serious, heavy energy in our relationships, and we learned a few hard lessons during that time, but I think we are all ready to move on! Thankfully, we are entering a lighter, more stimulating period.
Mars Enters Aquarius
Mars enters Aquarius on March 6th at exactly 12:23 am CST and will stay here until April 14th. Mars will continue to be ruled by Saturn in Aquarius, so we are still operating under a strong Saturnian influence, meaning that our actions will continue to be more controlled, focused, and deliberate. But the move from Capricorn into Aquarius will be a more significant shift than some might be expecting.
Mercury Re-enters Aquarius
Mercury will re-enter Aquarius at exactly 3:54 pm CST on Monday, February 14th, and stay here until March 9th. Mentally we are starting to feel a little more on track, and our thoughts and ideas are turning towards lighter, more objective topics. Over the next month, ask questions, explore options, and play with perspective.
Sun Enters Aquarius
Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius & Capricorn
On Friday, January 14th, Mercury will station retrograde at exactly 5:41 am CST and continue the motion until February 3rd. (Although we should wait until February 10th to start anything important.) It will move backward through Aquarius and into Capricorn during its retrograde cycle but maintain the same ruler in both signs - Saturn in Aquarius. As with any Mercury retrograde, keep in mind that anything you initiate during this time may not work out as planned, so proceed carefully and cautiously.
Mercury Enters Aquarius
Mercury enters Aquarius on Sunday, January 2nd, at exactly 1:10 am CST. Mercury will stay here for two weeks until it stations retrograde on January 14th but will start to really slow around the 10th. So this upcoming week is important! Use the next seven days to communicate anything you want to come across clearly. Also, deal with any complicated technical matters now if you can.
Jupiter Re-enters Aquarius
Jupiter re-enters Aquarius on Wednesday, July 28th, as it continues along its retrograde journey. Jupiter will stay in this sign until December 28th, when it will re-enter Pisces. Jupiter will no longer be ruling over itself as it was in Pisces but will have to answer to Saturn now. Saturn is known for being strict and only rewarding genuine effort, so we will have to reconsider how much we are trying and how seriously we are taking matters in our lives.
Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius
Saturn will station retrograde in Aquarius on May 23rd and continue this motion until October 10th, 2021. We should hold off starting any important long-term projects if possible until Saturn stations direct, as this is a time for reflection and review. If you know what house in your chart has Aquarius on the cusp, consider especially that area of your life. There may be matters that need some adjustments or rethinking.
Venus Enters Aquarius
On Monday, February 1st, Venus leaves Capricorn and enters Aquarius. This will also bring the total number of planets in Aquarius up to five! We will continue to be more progressive and revolutionary, leaving outdated ways of relating to the world behind us. Hold others to higher standards if necessary, and choose to love independent of what others think. Consider donating to causes you especially feel close to or taking part in mutual aid pools while Venus is here.
Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius
On Saturday, January 30th, Mercury will officially station retrograde in Aquarius. This retrograde will last until about February 20th, but avoid starting anything important or buying expensive electronics until February 26th. Mercury will spend its entire retrograde in Aquarius, prompting us to reflect, take our time, and think things through, especially regarding social issues and personal responsibility.
Sun Enters Aquarius
On Tuesday, January 19th, the Sun will leave Capricorn for Aquarius. Although Saturn rules both signs, Aquarius being an air sign gives the Sun much more flexibility and insightfulness. The Sun will stay in Aquarius until February 18th. Spend the next four weeks focusing on how best to help others and, while doing so, creating a better space for yourself.
