The Sun enters Pisces on February 18th at exactly 10:13 pm CST and will stay here until March 19th. After being in Capricorn and Aquarius, the Sun finally escapes Saturn’s rulership and can now enjoy being under Jupiter’s control. For the next four weeks, express your emotions more openly and be more sensitive in your intentions as you accept life’s mysteries.
Saturn Enters Pisces
Saturn enters Pisces on March 7th at exactly 7:35 am CST and will stay here until 2026. The next three years are our opportunity to work on more practical or realistic uses of compassion and care. We will also shift our focus toward creating more certainty around confusing or ambiguous topics or concepts. Above all, we will only receive the kindness we give, and it will become more evident that what is at the root of our actions is what we will ultimately be confronted with.
Mercury Enters Pisces
Mercury enters Pisces at exactly 4:52 pm CST and will stay here until March 18th. Mercury finds Pisces an uncomfortable sign to be in, as Mercury prefers certainty and boundaries, and Pisces forces it to be more nebulous and indistinct. This may be a challenging time for us mentally, but if we embrace our inner voice and discard the need for concrete answers, we may actually discover a lot of valuable information sitting inside of us.
Sun Enters Pisces
The Sun enters Pisces on February 18th at exactly 4:34 pm CST and will stay here until March 20th. For the last few months, we’ve been dealing with a strong Saturn-ruled Sun, which definitely made our choices feel much more serious and consequential. Now we can focus on making decisions that take our emotions into account and learn to pay attention to our sensitivities, as both give us important information about ourselves and how we interplay with the wider world.
Jupiter Re-enters Pisces
Jupiter re-enters Pisces on October 28th at exactly 12:10 am CDT and will stay here until December 20th. Although typically Jupiter and Pisces are best friends, they are dealing with a challenging situation as Jupiter is currently in the midst of a retrograde cycle that will last until November 23rd. We may be spending the time until Jupiter is direct re-evaluating how we experience and generate genuine compassion and kindness.
Mars Enters Pisces
Mercury Enters Pisces
Sun Enters Pisces
On Friday, February 18th, the Sun enters Pisces at exactly 10:43 am CST and will stay here until March 20th. There will be a lot of feelings going on, and I want us to deal with them wisely. As a mutable water sign, the Sun in Pisces is happiest when expressing compassion, adapting to the situation's needs, and going with the flow.
Jupiter Enters Pisces
Full Moon in Pisces
There will be a Full Moon in Pisces on Monday, September 20th at precisely 6:55 pm CDT. This Full Moon is all about empathy -- empathy for others AND ourselves. Feelings can be scary but push yourself to lean into them right now. Deeply experiencing our emotions is what leads to the greatest understanding and compassion.
ARIES RISING: You may be too focused on serving others as a result of unresolved trauma. Process your deeper, subconscious emotions.
TAURUS RISING: Your creative or passionate pursuits may have lead you away from making alliances with others. Remember to include others in your vision.
GEMINI RISING: Home or family issues may be distracting you from your career or affecting your reputation, don't lose sight of what you are trying to achieve.
CANCER RISING: Communicating effectively or issues in your community may be taking your focus away from what you fundamentally hold true. Don't compromise your beliefs.
LEO RISING: You may be very focused on financial or real estate concerns. Consider what deep-rooted fears are affecting your decisions.
VIRGO RISING: You may be spending too much energy on yourself or how you identify, remember your relationships also need attention.
LIBRA RISING: Dealing with what has been causing your suffering may cause you to be distracted from your daily work or health. Create a daily routine and take more care of your health.
SCORPIO RISING: Friends and alliances may be your main priority, but remember to make time for fun and what you are passionate about personally.
SAGITTARIUS RISING: You may be very focused on what is happening in your career and neglecting family or home obligations. Remember to find a balance.
CAPRICORN RISING: You may be venturing out into the world more or focusing on what you truly believe, but don't let that distract you from what is happening close to you and what you need to communicate.
AQUARIUS RISING: Your fears or dependence on others is distracting you from securing what you really value. Rebalance your priorities.
PISCES RISING: While you've been focusing on your close relationships, you may have lost sight of your true identity. Remember to consider how you want others to perceive you.
Jupiter Enters Pisces
Jupiter finally leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces on Thursday, May 13th at exactly 5:36 pm CDT and will stay here until July 28th. Jupiter’s time in Pisces will only be 11 weeks as it has a retrograde cycle coming up on June 20th that will push it back into Aquarius. Jupiter is much happier in Pisces, where its emotional optimism is welcomed, and its search for the deeper meanings behind matters is honored. We should also expect to see artistic and creative projects getting much more attention over the next couple of months as we reprioritize their role in our culture.
Mercury Enters Pisces
On March 15th at precisely 5:26 pm, Pisces leaves Aquarius and enters sensitive and intuitive Pisces for a three-week stay. We should expect to have more intuitive thoughts, ideas, and exchanges of more sensitive and sincere information. Mercury is in Fall and Detriment in Pisces because communications, thoughts, and ideas can be a bit nebulous or unclear. But if we are properly prepared, we can actually take advantage of this by prioritizing sensitive matters and things that require creativity.
Venus Enters Pisces
On February 25th at 7:11 am CST, Venus will leave Aquarius and enter Pisces. Venus will stay here until March 21st. Venus enjoys their time in Pisces as it is a sign where we consider it “exalted,” meaning Venus is treated like an honored guest. Since Pisces is a Jupiter ruled sign and its ruler is currently in Aquarius, this will be a less dreamy version of Venus in Pisces, but we still have that sense of being concerned with the greater good.
Sun Enters Pisces
Full Moon in Pisces
Late night on Tuesday, September 1, there will be a Full Moon in Pisces at exactly 12:22 am CDT. Full Moons always highlight two opposing signs because the Sun and Moon are opposite of each other, and this Full Moon will highlight the Virgo, Pisces axis. Use this time as an opportunity to take a mental break, and feel things more instinctively.
Neptune Retrograde
At 11:31 pm CDT on Monday, June 22nd Neptune will turn retrograde. We now have six planets retrograde (although Venus will finally turn direct on Thursday). A lot of us are doing some introspection and realizing that we have some changes in our lives to make. Neptune turning retrograde will bring up where in our lives we’ve been idealistic, and also where we’ve been disillusioned. We are really being asked right now to notice where things aren’t what we thought they were. A lot of us are grappling with a new reality, and that theme is only going to continue. Now that our vision is starting to clear, it is time for us to accept what is right in front of us.
Mars Enters Pisces
Today, May 12th, at 11:17 pm CDT, Mars will leave Aquarius and enter Pisces. While Mars was in Aquarius we were objective and logical. Now we turn to more intuitive insights and actions. We are still in a place where we are concerned with others, but at a more emotional level now. Hopefully Mars in Pisces can help us learn how to adapt during this tumultuous time as it pushes us to release control, and go with the flow more.
Sun Enters Pisces
Tonight, February 18th, the Sun will leave Aquarius at 10:57pm CST, and enter Pisces. As a water sign Pisces is sensitive and intuitive, but is also compassionate and generous because it’s planetary ruler is Jupiter. The last few months have brought a lot of Capricorn energy. Responsibilities and goals have been our focus lately, and it hasn’t been easy with Saturn and Pluto there. The Sun moving into Pisces is telling us that in order to accomplish things, sometimes we have to look past the surface.
Mercury Retrograde in Pisces
Today, Sunday, February 16th Mercury has officially started it’s retrograde motion! Mercury will retrograde through Pisces, and will continue to retrograde back into Aquarius as well. This may be an especially confusing retrograde because Mercury already gets easily confused and taken off track when in Pisces. Now add retrograde motion to that, and the confusion could easily skyrocket.
Mercury Enters Pisces
Today, February 3rd, Mercury entered Pisces! Mercury will spend an extended amount of time here because it will retrograde back into Aquarius before returning to Pisces. Yes, that means we have another Mercury retrograde on the way, starting February 16th and going until March 9th (I will have a separate post about this coming soon), needless to say avoid starting any important projects for a while. Mercury doesn’t exactly feel comfortable in Pisces. That’s because Mercury wants to be logical and methodical, and when it’s in Pisces that’s hard to do because Pisces gets confused easily, and relies more on intuition. This means it may be harder to articulate your ideas and thoughts, but that doesn't necessarily mean you don’t know what you’re doing.
