Mars Enters Aries

Mars enters Aries on May 24th at exactly 6:17 pm CDT and will stay here until July 5th. Mars is finally back in one of the signs it rules. We are finally ready to act on behalf of our inner strengths and direct our energy outward without holding back. Since Mars has no one to answer to but itself, we can operate with a sort of impunity, not letting others dictate our actions and motivations, allowing our true nature the expression it deserves.

Sun Enters Gemini

On Friday, May 20th, the Sun enters Gemini at exactly 8:23 pm CDT and will stay here until June 21st. This will not be a palpable change, as the Sun’s ruler, Mercury, re-enters Taurus on Sunday as it goes through its retrograde cycle. We may feel like we are stuck, dealing with the same old matters for a while still. Still, we can look forward to the second half of June, when we finally get some true Gemini energy and momentum.

Jupiter Enters Aries

Jupiter enters Aries on May 10th, at 6:22 pm CDT, and will stay here until October 28th. This is a significant shift for Jupiter as it leaves its home in Pisces, a sign where it is incredibly comfortable, to the fiery arena of Aries. Jupiter’s time in Aries will be complicated, as it includes a retrograde that begins on July 28th. We only have about three months to take full advantage of this energy. Then we will be forced to retrace our steps and learn any lessons we missed along the way.

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury will officially station retrograde on Tuesday, May 10 at exactly 6:47 am CDT and continue that motion until Friday, June 3rd. However, as Mercury is an entire planet, it takes a moment to pick up speed again, which won’t happen until June 11th. So what does this all mean? First, hold off on starting important projects until June 11th, if possible. Second, double-check everything and then check it again.

New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Taurus

There is a partial Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Taurus on Saturday, April 30th at exactly 3:28 pm CDT. All of the eclipses in 2022 occur in either Taurus or Scorpio, so keep your eye on those houses in your chart. Expect some significant evolutions to come out of those areas of your life this year. Since this is only a partial eclipse, we may feel like whatever we discover, we’re only getting part of the story or missing some information. But remember, eclipses bring disturbances, so embrace it all as part of the cycle.

Mercury Enters Gemini

Mercury enters Gemini on Friday, April 29th, at exactly 5:23 pm. This Mercury placement encourages us to collect information and connect with our interests. Unfortunately, Mercury spends only about 22 days in Gemini due to its upcoming retrograde cycle that begins on May 10th and is only direct for the first 10 of those days. Needless to say, if we want to use this energy to our advantage, we must move quickly.

Venus Enters Aquarius

Venus enters Aquarius on March 6th at exactly 12:30 am CST. Finally, after four long months, Venus says goodbye to Capricorn. There was a lot of serious, heavy energy in our relationships, and we learned a few hard lessons during that time, but I think we are all ready to move on! Thankfully, we are entering a lighter, more stimulating period.

Mars Enters Aquarius

Mars enters Aquarius on March 6th at exactly 12:23 am CST and will stay here until April 14th. Mars will continue to be ruled by Saturn in Aquarius, so we are still operating under a strong Saturnian influence, meaning that our actions will continue to be more controlled, focused, and deliberate. But the move from Capricorn into Aquarius will be a more significant shift than some might be expecting.
